This movie is astounding!! It's the first of its kind. It's the perfect movie to watch early in the morning, or right when you wake up. "One Million Years B.C." gets your imagination rolling, and just brightens up your day. Don't miss out on this classic!! Raquel Welch is phenomenal, even if she just says one word....

This is one of those films that are GREAT on a boring, rainy day. Not only is this a sci-fi classic because of the Ray H. claymation effects and its sci-fi era style...but anyone with eyes will find Raquel Welch as more than enough reason to at least give the film a chance. With the sad amount of botox & silicon most celebrities serve us nowadays, it is refreshing to see what a real woman looks like. If thats not enough for you to at least try the film out, I should also point out that if you enjoyed any of the Ray H. movies like "Clash of the Titans," "Jason & the Argonauts" or any of the "Sinbad" films, with this film you get to see some of Rays earlier work.

Wow! This movie is one incredible, 60's style flick. The Claymation scenes are actually better than most, and Raquel Welch is stunning, well worth hanging on the wall of Andy Defrayne's prison cell.

I was recommended this movie and after watching it I have to say this would probably have amazed me if I were watching it when it first came out. The special effects are actually pretty good considering. It's really cool how they did some of those things without the use of a computer. That's real innovation right there. The movie itself is English wordless, in fact I think it's less than 20 caveman words said in the whole film, and it's no Quest for Fire. The cave people are a bit too well groomed, but considering it's a 60's movie I can't fault it too much for that. It does move slow for a modern audience. There's also a minimal amount of blood, which is a nice respite from today's movies.

The dialog and screenwriting stunk, absolutely! Considering that cave men and dinos didn't live in the same era, couldn't they have least made some more interesting dialogue a la The Flintstones? However, the special effects are great, considering the era. The women, not just Raquel Welch, are really eye candy. How did they accumulate such a cast of gorgeous women who looked like they just got back from the hairdresser? (My husband's comments, not mine).
