This movie is packed with fantastic music including 'Chain the Fools' 'Try a Little Tenderness" and 'Mustang Sally' - which is the best verison I've heard. These people can sing! And on top of that it is a well acted and funny movie! Don't miss it! WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes

As good as the soundtrack is, the movie is better. If you didn't know otherwise, you'd think they had acting musicians, not singing actors. I've seen this movie 5 times and never get tired of it. WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes

Very funny, totally entertaining, good music and some excellent lines such as "the Irish are the blacks of Europe, Dubliners are the blacks of Ireland, and Northsiders are the blacks of Dublin"! Nothing else even comes close. Great story, excellent acting and amazing music with an unbelievable lead singer. It has hard irish accents, but just put your subtitles on and enjoy this great movie. You see all these hopefuls trying to put a band together in Dublin, facing all the issues of their daily lives and the stresses of being in the band.
