Jeff Bridges and James Woods deliver really good acting and some pretty clever lines even for today's standards. I wanted to see more love scenes though...Jeff Bridges is hot, damn it! Read MoreI rented this expecting to get a romantic movie, but it tried way too hard to be a suspence/thriller film. The pace of the film is slow and is about 20% romance and 80%(attempted) suspence/thriller. It is very unsuccessful at pulling off either of those qualities. I really, really try to be objective and hate giving poor reviews, but this movie was very disappointing. The plot and acting is reminiscent of day time soap opera dramas. The "Against All Odds" song is about the only good thing that came out of this movie. The music they used to in order to play up the tension/suspence was shrilling guitar cords and saxophones. If you're not convinced that you should not waste your time on this movie, just remember that poor movie choices lead to dull evenings and renter's remorse. Close this ReviewWAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL?
