Hopeful Notes (2010) Reviews

This uplifting, inspirational drama concerns Alex (Walter Nudo) an Italian engineer employed in Russia for several years. With his labor contract nearing expiry, he plans to return to Italy - until he accidentally crosses paths with Dima, a hospital-bound child stricken with terminal cancer. The two become friends, and Dima introduces Alex to the other residents of the ward. Alex soon begins volunteering as a pianist, playing for kids in the facility, which brings him face-to-face with the struggles that terminally-ill chidren face, and gives him the opportunity to provide hope for those who desperately need it. ~ Nathan Southern, Rovi
