GREAT film! Had no idea what we were going to experience. I thought it was just going to be a love story between a young girl and an older guy but was I wrong!!! It's so much more than that!!! This film will affect you on a gut-level. It's about facing life at all different stages and accepting things. I don't buy many movies but this is one I AM going to buy and watch over and over. 35 year old Jesse returns to his college after being invited to say some kind words about a former professor. There he meets the young and vibrant Zibby and the two embark on a letter-writing romance of sorts. Jesse has an idea of who things are supposed to be in life/with people and becomes disappointed. To me the standout performance was John Magaro as Dean. He added a nice layer to the storyline and was perfectly miserable as his character. Very good acting. Was this review helpful? Yes
