Author Stephen Chbosky adapts his own best-selling novel about a withdrawn teen who attempts to remain hopeful for the future while dreading every day of the present. Emma Watson, Ezra Miller, and Logan Lerman star. ~ Jason Buchanan, Rovi
This is not a Breakfast Club for a new generation. There's nothing "don't you forget about me" about this story at all. The newest song the characters listen to is from 1993 so they are Gen X, not Millenials. It's a good story but there's almost nothing funny about it, almost. For most of the movie they seem to be the most morose teens around. You should still see this film. Just don't go looking for John Hughes in a reflection on some glass surface at any time. Oh, Emma Watson is amazingly amazing... she should seriously consider acting as a career.
A little disturbing especially if you've ever been disturbed. Deals well with off center sexuality, growing up a little different and all that stuff. Well acted.
Good movie. Very endearing relationship between a teen who is a wallflower and has issues surrounding his mother's death and those that get him to come out of his shell and welcome them into their teen world. The movie shows compassion, love, and many issues that teens face in school and life.
I watched the full movie here ----------> http://tiny.cc/movie784 (that link is for those who haven't watched it yet) Anyway, what can I say? this movie definitely made me love the characters and I can relate!! Just some minor plots that are ridicuous I didnt like.. anyway, 5/5 stars for this movie!!
