Inspired by author Jeffery Deaver's New York Times best-seller, The Devil's Teardrop follows FBI Special Agent Margaret Lukas (Natasha Henstridge) and forensic analyst Parker Kincaid (Tom Everett Scott) in their desperate race to catch a rampaging gunman who launched a deadly attack at Washington, D.C.'s Union Station, and penned a letter to the FBI promising even more carnage unless he receives a $20 million ransom. ~ Jason Buchanan, Rovi
Don't bother with this movie. There's better movies on tv. The movie begins with what seems to be a thriller--- a guy walks into Union Station and fires unto an unsuspecting crowd, there's a ransom, but the guy pulling the strings gets killed...after that it's all downhill.
The acting and timing of this movie saved it from a stretched and very thin plot. Terrorism for no apparent purpose and a willingness of the FBI to just give the terrorist millions when he asks for it was not interesting. Nevertheless it would nice to see sequels of Scott and Henstridge.
