An NYPD hostage negotiator (Elizabeth Banks) attempts to talk cop-turned-fugitive Nick Cassidy (Sam Worthington) down from a high ledge, but she learns that he may have a hidden motive for threatening to take his own life. At first the movie was a bit confusing as it flicked between past to present but then it stayed in the present time and slowly it came together as to why the ex-con was out on the ledge. I don't want to give the movie away but it was a good movie, a bit of mystery and tense moments and a good ending.

Really enjoyed the movie, very engaging and full of twists and turns. Lots of secrets kept until the end, loved who the bellhop turned out to be..... This one kept me on the edge of the seat the whole way thru..... well worth the rental and one of the better movies I have seen lately.

If your expected just another cop talks a guy outta suicide movie, your dead wrong. He's grabbing everybody' attention while the actaul story is goign on accross the street. The movie is well worth the rental fee and will keep you guessing until the end.

There were no "stars" in this movie so I was able to see it as the suspense-thriller it was meant to be. Sedgwick and Harris kinda phoned-in their roles. But everyone did a decent job. There are some good twists and revelations to keep you guessing.
