First of all the music in Country Strong is amazing. I think everyone will be pleasantly surprised by Gwyneth, Leighton and most of all Garretts singing abilities. Garrett has deep and sexy voice. This movie will make you laugh and cry. There is a lot of emotion put into this movie. Tim is fabulous, his acting gets better with every movie he makes. Leighton is wonderful as the sweet and unsure "beauty queen" that has more to her than what we see on the surface. I believe Tim, Garrett, Leighton and Gwyneth all have equal parts in carrying this movie. If you are a country music fan you will love the music and really like the movie..

I went to this movie kicking and screaming with a friend because of the reviews. I am so glad I went I thought this movie was wonderful. Would strongly recommend it.

Really enjoyed this movie. Loved the music. All the actors did a great job. I will buy it when it comes out and the soundtrack.

I found it touching and entertaining. Loved most of the music. The reviews were too critical. There's room for a little criticism, but I think it does what a movie should do --entertain.

What a depressing movie, script and dialogue - the DP did a good job, A nice looking cast though.

The music in this movie was good. That was about it. This movie is a train wreck extremely depressing. I had no idea how depressing this movie got. Gwenth Paltrow is just out of control and all her husband cares about who's her manager is her putting on concerts. It's pretty clear he doesn't care about her, although it's clear she's unfaithful with atleast 2 different men just during the movie. U never see him cheating on him he's just very distant and won't give her the time of day. It seems as though Gwenth is extremely lonely in this movie. She's selfdistructive at the end you think she's going to pull through, and she does for a breif second just so you can see why, she bacame famous in the 1 st place. I wasn't expecting the ending.

If you are looking for a feel good movie, stay away. If you are looking for a movie that has great music and acting, it is worth a rental. Not sure it is worth a $10 admission at the theater though.
