I loved the first one that they did with Jason Lee. I hated the second one because they essentially wrote him out, and this third one was only so/so, IMO. I was disappointed.

Cute, but don't like the message. Girls running around in their towels in front of the boys. Alvin completely disobeying and breaking all the rules only to have his dad cave and do nothing about it. Pretty disgusting. The singing is torture too. Why do most animations have the go-go's rendition of "vacation"? Gets old.

I understand this was a kids movie but my 3 year old didn't really care for it. I felt that it was too slow and the plot was a bit boring. I've seen the other two and they were a lot better then the third. I think they should have redone the cartoon movie they did when they went around the world delivering the diamonds, that would have been more interesting.
