Katherine Hepburn and Cary Grant make a dream team. The movie is a very funny screwball comedy where Hepburn comes in posession of a leopard and wants Grant to help her while secretly getting closer to him in the process. Katherine Hepburn makes the movie with her quirky charm and odd compellingness. Cary Grant is very good as the normal guy who doesn't realize he's falling for her. Read More I tried to rent this movie and was ready to watch and be thrilled. Unfortunately, even though the disc sleeve states it contains "Bringing Up Baby - 1 of 1", what it actually contains is Disc Two. No movie - just special features and cartoons. I have to wonder if there was an intended F. Scott Fitzgerald influence on the Susan Vance character, with a twist of eccentricity added in for good measure. Read More My husband lasted about 90 seconds into the movie after Katharine Hepburn's character is introduced. Believing it couldn't be that bad throughout the whole movie, I tried again with my sister in law, and we lasted about 40 minutes before we couldn't take her anymore. The only reason I can give this movie two stars is because of the few moments that Cary Grant is able to shine without Katharine Hepburn's AWFUL Susan Vance ruining his entire life (and the MOVIE as well). If you enjoy stupid, ditzy females who lie, manipulate, and play with people's lives just to get their own selfish whims, then this movie is for you. I did finish the movie only to find that Grant's character does in fact fall for Hepburn's (though we cannot figure out WHY). Ugh... leaves me wondering why Grant bothered with this movie at all.
