4 out of 4 people found this review helpful This film may be considered "slow" by today's overstimulated standards, but I miss 70s movies that had this delicious warm pacing. The dialogue in here is terrific - especially the dad. Well worth seeing, if just for the young hot ripped Dennis Quaid.WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes | No

Read More I had just finished reading a story about the Little 500 and wanted to rewatch the movie to watch the action during the race. I found that there was more to the movie than just cycling, and the Little 500. The trials of a group of locals that struggled to be a part of the college town they lived in, and the brotherhood of the group as they went on with their lives, culminating at the Little 500 race. Although the entire movie may not be totally factual, the Cutters did race and win the Little 500. Close this Review WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes | No

Read More For fans of cycling, like myself, this is the all-time ultimate movie because it is very authentic in its portayal of the role that cycling plays in the lives of its devotees. For non-cyclists, it can serve as a window into the cycling world as well as being a very good story of small-town life, growing up, and urge many of us have to find something better in our lives. Go to any cycling website, ask about this movie, and you will hear gushing praise about the stature that this movie holds amongst cycling fans. Close this Review WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Read More Life after high school never seemed easier, as these four boys from the 80's decide to stick to the same old, same old. Yeah, up until they realize the world around them is moving forward, and they are about to trip over the nineties. This is a good movie for any young ones unwilling to grow up. Plus, it's weird to see Dennis Quaid so young! Close this Review WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes | No
