This is the first of the series that I've watched, and I have to say how impressed I am with the acting and cinematography! Sometimes Christian movies look a bit "raw" when they are filmed (probably due to lack of $$ or experience) - well NOT this movie! Not only was it a clean, wholesome family movie (which you don't see much of anymore), the story/plot was excellent! I used to read Janette Oke's books a long time ago- she is a great author! REALLY keeps you interested! I'm going to recommend this to all of my friends (& I'll prob buy it too!)

I have seen all the films adapted from this series of Janet Oke novels from the beginning. I do recommend starting from the beginning, since each story picks up where the last one left off. The series follows the same family and all its trials and tribulations through which is now into its third generation. The movies are inspirational, clean, wholesome, true family films that the whole family can enjoy together. I look forward to all future films in this series!

This is the 7th movie in the frontier drama based on the 8 Love Comes Softly books by Janette OKe with the same respective titles that we have seen as each one as gone from the screen to DVD. The 8th movie came out in April and we can't till it comes out on DVD. The movies have everything action, harsh frontier adversity, drama, and both romantic and family love. The movies are clean family safe. The only PG thing is that it being the early frontier America there is at at least 1 to 2 plus premature deaths every movie usually off screen not shown that the characters have to deal with. Michael Landon Jr. makes great movies!

Movie is probably one of the most predictable that I have ever seen. The acting experience of the cast appears to be at best, amateur. Futhermore, this is a religious movie and Blockbuster should advise its members that the content is such. Was surprised that, at the beginning of the movie credits, there were religious affiliates that produced and directed the movie.
