Read MoreI was surprised, after watching this film, that it was actually a Lifetime TV movie. The caliber of the cast, the writing, and the production were all stellar. The story of Dr. Slamon's undaunted determination to test this drug with so much potential (and it truly is a wonder drug for many) is inspiring. Angie Harmon is pitch perfect as his advocate and friend Lilly Tartikoff, and Harry Connick Jr brings both charm and steel to his portrayal of Dr. Slamon. Strong performances by Bernadette Peters, Amanda Bynes, Amy Madigan, and others add to the depth of an already great true story. Well worth the rental. Close this ReviewWAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes

Very good as far as educational goes. Decent story. Should be shown in Science classes in Jr. High to help people be more educated in a disease that is covering America.
