In this gritty spy thriller, Helen Mirren plays a retired Mossad agent named Rachel. I should have read the other reviews before renting this one. Usually, when many of the reviewers report that the movie doesn't live up to expectations, it doesn't --- and this was no exception. Booooooring. Sure, Helen M was the star and did a good acting job...for about 10 minutes. The rest was mostly her yourger experience. I didn't bother to watch it to the end, it just didn't hold my attention. Next time, I'll read the reviews before renting. When will the "experts" and "professionals" tell it like it really is instead of overhyping anything with a recognizable star in the lead role?

Helen Mirren is very good in this role, but not at her best, imho. Good story, if not a bit frustrating, and we still don't know how the story "ends." Ambiguous, to say the least. We can imagine our own ending, I suppose -- where the truth comes out and, yet, is saved by Mirren's character's recent actions. I do like to imagine beyond the film's "ending." Dreary. Not in the mood for dreary at this time.

Kids you probably will not like this one. It is deep and is focused on the Nazi Death Camps. This movie had me on the edge of my seat. I can usually watch a movie and do something else, not this one it demands your full attention and is worth it! The acting was superb!

    What the heck is wrong with you people!? What does hold your attention? If having to watch a movie from begining to end is to much of a challenge for you i would say dont watch anything more than the wiggles with your 2 year old! You missed out on a great movie.

    It was fascinating to watch this very well acted story within a story of the courage, tenacity and faults of three committed post war hunters of a nazi Mengela like character whose cunning and guile was a chilling reminder of the evil of the time.

    The movie was a bit hard to follow initially as they flitted between present day and memories of what they did in the past in order to reach this point where they take the doctor down for his past transgressions. The movie is intense and you must pay close attention or you miss alot. It is a dark drama and not meant to entertain but more to educate.
