The fruntal nudity of young Tihitian women is tastful and not lude in anyway to my way of thinking. If you are a prudish calvinest then don't watch it but for others this is a worthy movie about a historical event. Close this Review WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes | No

I thought the acting was well done. I find it somewhat humorous that complaints about nudity would be written, when it clearly states that in the rating. Nevermind the historical portrayal of Tahitian life. This movie does not offer gratuitous anything, and is tastefully done. It provokes thoughts on just what did happen to Mr. Christian. If you like historical pieces, this movie is worth the 2+ hours. Close this Review WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes | No

Read More I kept watching this fruitless flick in the dire hopes that something, anything would happen that was interesting but no. over 2 hours of the same music score and dry acting. This could have been accomplished in about an hour. They set sail, they land in tahiti, they mutiny, they go somewhere else. Over and done. If u want a good sea tale get Master and Commander, that was a great period movie with some great acting Close this Review WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes | No
