Read More A depressing movie in which every single character is depressed, & interact in ways that make themselves & everyone else around them even more depressed & miserable. Not even the exceptionally talented Alec Baldwin tries very hard in this movie ... tho his "mail-it-in" disinterested performance is still better than most Hollywood actors. Alec Baldwin is always good whatever he does and there are
other strong performances. I like that it takes place in the 70's
and it gets better as it moves along. Reminded me a little bit

To be honest I hadn't heard of it until it was suggested to me. I found it to be very interesting. It's a story of two very dysfunctional families and the events were not too much dissimilar to many of my life experiences. Read More Once again, the same Hollywood formula...We get to watch people vomiting, having sex and masturbating (OOPS, they forgot to show someone sitting on the toilet or brushing teeth this time). And, of course, the standard overuse of the "F Bomb". WHO in the world finds these elements entertaining, especially when they are performed by teenagers?
