HILARIOUS! I expected it to be a continuation of My Big Fat Greek Wedding. I was completely wrong. It exceeded my expectations in every way. Very cleverly written and hilarious story line. WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes

Read MoreI have to say I was pretty disappointed with this film. I really liked Nia Vardalos in 'My Big Fat Greek Wedding', but she gave a less than stellar performance in 'My Life in Ruins'. The story line was forced, Vardalos' acting was forced, as was the acting of most of the cast. The only truly endearing and funny character was the one played by Richard Dreyfuss. I have to say I laughed out loud at a few of his lines. If it weren't for Dreyfuss, the movie would have received a rating of no stars from me. I must say; though, that I did like Vardalos' hair and wardrobe alot. I thought she had never looked as good as she did in this film. Sorry to say, that is about as complimentary as I can get. I would not recommend it and wished I had spent my time watching the repeat of another movie. Sorry Nia. Richard Dreyfuss has stooped to an al-time low.
