To say that this movie is a plunker...that is to say it creeps along and meanders at a snore is an understatement. However, if one is a Lou Diamond Phillips fan, and I am, one still has the pleasure of seeing at least one well acted role. The director was wise in letting Lou play the main character in a low key fashion so as to not disturb the somnolent woodenness of the plot. If there was ever a movie where one wishes there was the presence of Peckinpah style effects such as multiple skirmishes leaving bullet ridden corpses strewn on dusty blood soaked streets and gratuitous promiscuous copulations with the old girlfriend and a number of saloon hussies...this is one of 'em.

This movie was HORRIBLE. I can't believe that Lou Diamond Phillips was in this movie because I do like him as an actor. He must have owed a HUGE debt to someone. It was like a really bad version of Little House on the Prairie except with awful gun shot wounds. I am not into movies for their gore factor, but this was just rediculous.
