We missed the first season and the dvd's were wonderful to watch and get the background. It is funny, sensitive, interesting court cases and a great message and you have to just love Eli! I was looking for a new T.V. series to start watching, and saw that although a new release T.V. series, it was in its first season. I couldn't have been more surprised, when it turned out to be an incredible show, and one that I would recommend in a moments notice, without hesitating. If you have a moment to try something new, you won't be upset with your decision to try this out. I have even set this to tape on my D.V.R. when the new season starts on October 14. Read MoreI thought I would give this TV series a try--hoping it would be good (given that my wife and I find it hard to be intertained by a TV series). But this was Great! and now we are both "Hooked On The Series".
Its hard to say exactly what it was which hooked us , but the acting was great and it could switch from Hilarious to Tears in the health issue Eli was battling.
