A young scientist and his resourceful band of entomologists feel the fury of Mother Nature firsthand after being summoned to the jungles of Brazil to defeat an army of ants and realizing that these particular insects possess unusual strength and intelligence. The Brazilian jungle is teeming with ravenous predators, none of which are nearly as dangerous as the 200 million flesh-eating ants that are currently devouring anything unfortunate enough to stand in their path. As the fight for the rainforest begins, the army begins to reproduce faster than every before, and as their numbers multiply their appetite for human flesh only grows. ~ Jason Buchanan, Rovi
Its one of the better MANEATER movie saga movies but not as good as Maneater or Sand Serpents or Wyvern(The only decent Maneater movies). It was bad but not and awful sack of garbage like In the Spider's Web
How in the hell does this get 2.5 stars? I couldn't whach it. It is like some science fiction style film where your supposed to imagine your in some fantasy world. The special effects are 1970's B movie quality. The ants (I think they are ants right?) look so stupid. How dumb is it to make ants form shapes that humans recognize. These ants are so smart that they can move in cadence to do perfect tricks like a cheerleading crew. Ants are bad asses by themselves. Army Ants are my favorite animal. They do very cool things. This movie goes stupidly overboard. What's next , the ocean attacks people on land. That would be awsome. We could have the ocean send some waves out across land to smoother people in there homes. Then after the people are dead, the water could then just drain itself back to the ocean. Overall D-, because there was effort to make a clever movie.
