The pacing was a bit weird at times, but overall this was an action packed, old fashioned good time!

I enjoyed this film - sort of like in the vein of "Raiders of the Lost Ark". The metamorphasis was kinda cool. The last half was a little predictable and not as fun as "Ironman", but I overall enjoyed the movie as escapist pleasure.

This is a fun movie for parents to take their kids. It's formulaic and cliche-ridden with the stock one-liners but it's an entertaining high adventure. Far from being stupid, vulgar and mindless, (as too many movies are today) the kids will experience love for one's country, loyalty to one's friends and the real danger of the bad madman and his destructive use of power. Stanley Tucci brings a touch of class to everything he does and this movie is no exception.

This was an interesting and fun movie for us both but for different reasons. My husband liked the "action" but I found the constant kill, kill, kill reminded me of one of those really shallow and plotless video games people who hate their lives play. I used to when I was younger and more stupid but not anymore. What I found kind of fun was watching the way the characters were morphed from dwarf to giant depending on what the scene seemed to call for.. it was rather funny. Extremely exaggerated, but that was part of the humor. We won't buy this but it was a nice respite from a tiresome weekend.

cool movie. funny, entertaining and exciting. interesting use of CGI FX. the whole transformation from 99 pound weakling to 200 pound super jock was pretty trippy. can't believe what they can do these days. there was also some funny scenes where Captain America becomes a Rockette in a patriotic stage show at the Radio City Music Hall. normally i don't get into super hero movies very much, but i liked that this was a retro one and happening in the 1940's during WWII. there were 40's autos and art deco looking futuristic planes and gadgets that were fun to look at. Chis Evans was good and he looked like he did his own stunts in a few scenes. he was also pretty funny as the 99 pound weakling. and it's always cool to see Toby Jones in just about anything even if the movie's no good. i was also suprised to see Tommy Lee Jones, Samuel L. Jackson and Dominic Cooper here as well. really super cool fun and it moved by fast with a good sense of humour.
