Loved this movie and have always wished that it would have been made into a series. Maybe once the current incarnation gets too old they can revisit the idea...

Watched this movie years ago and so glad I watched it again. Was a great family movie. It was a great way to tie up the early years and find out how Holmes and Watson met even if was not real but then again Holmes and Watson arent either except in my memories. I think everyone who ever loved the mystery stories on Holmes and Watson should watch this movie.

This was such a fun movie. I had heard of Sherlock Holmes, but had never really seen a movie about him. I found this greatly entertaining and this has sparked my interest in seeing more Holmes movies. I will be sure to try the Robert Downey Jr. Holmes movie soon.

This movie was pretty good. I liked the special effects alot. I thought it had a good story line. I think they should have given Watson more of a spine though!

Very pleasant movie that is appropriate for a family environment. The hallucination scenes may be a little too intense for younger children to process, but overall I wish there were more movies made like this. It has the intrigue and storyline to keep all ages interested.

This movie is great for kids AND adults who are fans of Sherlock Holmes. The storyline is consistent with other Sherlock Holmes movies, suggesting several great "beginnings" of the traditions we all love (the pipe, the hat, "the game's afoot," etc.). My 12-year-old son, who also loves the Harry Potter movies, was fascinated throughout the entire movie. We both noted that young Watson even LOOKS like a chubby Harry Potter! Nice adventure, clever plot, good relationships among the child actors. You'll be glad you rented it.
