This movie also poke fun at Hollywood itself.

For a change, left-liberal ideas are mocked instead of conservative ideas. Some parts of the movie feel like an SNL sketch, but from a different political point of view than one will usually find there.There is quite a bit of silly, slapstick-style physical humor, and the humor isn't as sexual as the humor in the usual David Zucker film. The one or two serious moments brought tears to my eyes. The framing narrative with Leslie Nielson isn't the strongest part of the movie, though it was fun to see Nielson onscreen again. If you loved movies like Fahrenheit 9/11, V for Vendetta, An Inconvenient Truth, Rendition.; if you adore Howard Dean, Al Gore, John Kerry; if you think the "news" is objective & truthful, you will HATE this movie. Why? Because reality based satire is an ideal way to make great entertainment. Unfortunately, this reality based satire will offend liberals delicate senses because, in this case, the truth hurts. The writing, acting, and gags were basically pathetic. Zucher wasted his time on this one. I think the concept of mocking Moore, etc was promising and potentially funny, but this was just terrible. WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes
