Read More Finally a little right wing comedy. I just got done watching war inc. the day before and was saying to my wife how disgusted I was getting in the liberal opinionated comedys. This explores the other side, and its damn funny. Anyone who badmouths America should watch this. I hope Michael Moore did! Chris Farleys bro is a great actor, not quite like Chris, but still quite well. Close this Review WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes | No

Read More I thought the movie was hilarious. It was especially gratifying to see hollywood give it back to the looney left in a light hearted way and at the same time be sending a messege. It shows Michael Moore in the proper light. I loved it.
A great cast also helped make this movie worth watching. Close this Review WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes | No

Read More This satire pokes Hollywood elites in the eye with laugh-a-minute hilarity from David Zucker. For a refreshing change, this time 'conservatives' are the good guys. Thomas Jefferson, founder of what became the modern Democrat party, would have considered this movie a side-splitter, but the fact that modern liberals don't get how things have become so twisted and inverted only makes it more poignant. The idea that big government, civilian disarmament, and social programs as the new opiate of the masses are somehow going to create a people's utopia only shows that many people have not studied history. As educational as it is funny. Too bad they deleted the Ted Kennedy scenes, and Malone's character arc as the result of the three ghosts could have been polished a bit, but overall a must-see. We kept having to pause it because we were laughing so hard. If you are a right winger, you will absolutely love this movie. It pokes fun at the left and gives them back all that they dish out. But it WAS just a movie. They do really exist and are a constant threat to us, as a nation, and the world, in general. We need MORE movies that highlight patriotism and down play stupidity. I am middle of the road politically so I like satire of both sides, however this just isn't funny. I think I laughed once the entire film, mostly groaning at the unimaginative bits that you could see coming a mile away. And to top it off, I spent money to see it in theaters. So bad that I wouldn't watch it again for free. Close this Review WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes | No |
