A real horror movie and not an expose on torcher. This is what horror should be about, a blend of jumps and intrique and tension relieved with moments of comic relief. Allison Lohman was excellent and is an actress that really deserves a big hit; she shines in everything she is in and is really starting to peak with this performance. Justin Long and David Paymer are excellent in supporting roles and I dont know who plays the wicked old Gypsy but man what a convincing evil lady she plays...I will see this again when it comes to DVD. Just when things start to settle down, you get a curve ball thrown at you. There are bloody things, stuff jumping out at you and all kinds of other stuff going on all the time. About a half dozen times. It was scary, laughable, and disgusting all at the same time. The heroin is quite the trooper (and so it her jerk boss) if she can throw up blood ALL OVER HIM, clean herself up by the next scene with out so much a hint of caring that, holy crap, that was a lot of blood! Not the newest idea, but well-done in a modern formula. Alison Lohman is a convincing doomed banker and Justin Long (Mr. Mac) is sweet as the befuddled boyfriend. The special effects are okay, more suspense than true goriness. A good fight scene between the banker and the gypsy while both are locked in the car. Read More This movie was a waste of my time, The biggest disappointment was the ending. It was ashame that I knew exactly how this movie was going to end with 30min left. The concept was great but the last 30min of the movie where not needed they could of ended the movie with the car scene. The first hour was pretty good and the ending was great. But the 30 minutes before the end which should have been the most intense and exciting part, fell short of expectations and could easily have been done so much better. Read More I was laughing so hard during some of the horror scenes. I don't know if it was the extended version that had these scenes in them only, but they were so funny. The poor girl got beat up so bad and just got back up. The old lady was one tough cookie.
