Read More Let's face it, you rent Seagal and Van-Damme movies for action that's it. You either like them or you don't...I've been watching Steven's movies ever since Above the Law and it's never been about the plot or the acting,,,,just Seagal kicking butt...If you like Seagal and the same old plot lines, rent it. I almost got to the "oh no, here we go again" very early on, and then things started to come ... Read More The last few of his films that I have seen were pretty bad. So, I put this one in expecting the worse. I almost got to the "oh no, here we go again" very early on, and then things started to come around. This one actually has a touch of the Stephen Seagal that you like in Under Siege. It's got the trademark Stephen Seagal cheesiness, but it is well filmed, the acting is not too bad and the bullets fly.
It is worth watching. If you've liked his work and been disappointed lately; I think you may be pleasantly surprised. Close this Review WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes | No | ||

Read More Yes this was better than some of his other recent movies, but that by no means makes it good. I watched most of it on fast speed and wished I had just not watched it at all. Thankfully he finally made a movie with out the token black rapper in it. That scenario was very old. In this movie, I guess the plot is ok, but my problem is simple...When he takes target practice with his pistol, he can light matches from 30 yards away, yet in the gun fights nobody can hit people who are 10 yards away and they are not even behind cover well. That just ruins it for me. The shootouts were so poorly done. I'm no marksman and I could've hit any of them. Either they needed to have more difficult shots to warrant the misses, have more annonymous henchmen to kill so there were not as many misses, or increase the plot so the shootouts didn't need to go on and on because they can't seem to hit them. OK plot idea, but then it seems like it was actually written by a 6th grader. Close this Review WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes | No | ||
