As much as liked the acting and much of the directing, the pace is extremely slow and instead of developing the story line, too much attention is given to long scenes that add absolutely nothing to the plot or the character develpment. If you want to see some nice shots of Daniel Craig's butt and watch him in his cute form fittng lounge pants, by all means don't miss the beginning of the movie, however, for those of his fans who are expecting a quality movie, I would say move on. Read MoreThe movie plays out almost like a novel...it's a little on the slow side, but I think that people will still enjoy it. Unfortunately, however, the movie really falls apart at the end; in the first instance because the plot ultimately 'climaxes' with a point that is all but forgotten about, and in the second instance because Claire Forlani could not look any less like the character she is supposed to be the older version of...it's ridiculous. I suppose the younger version of Daniel Craig is acceptable looks-wise, but the difference in his mannerisms/accent/etc. is almost as offensive as the difference between Forlani's looks and those of her younger counterpart. Ultimately, at the end, it kind of seems like the director suddenly becomes aware of just how long the movie has run for and decides to end it immediately. Close this ReviewWAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL?
