Read MoreMovies like this think they have to be continuously over the top in order to be funny, which is sad because it totally misses the concept of a spoof. For instance, the completely random insertion of modern pop-culture references into the movie were just out of place and really wierd. They should've stuck with some of the more subdued, but infinitely more funny gags like Xerxes, or the training of the Spartan children. Overall, the movie is a painfully unfunny mess, but there are a few scenes which had me laughing out loud, but those were few and far between. And if it wasn't for Carmen Electra, this movie might be totally unwatchable. Close this ReviewWAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes
