I like a good drama, but this one was a bit too slow-moving. I also think, despite the caliber of the cast, that the acting was pretty weak. Lillian Gish's character was by far the most convincing.

I really wanted to like this movie. I sat and waited for it to pick up a bit, but it never did. It was just sad...seeing Bette so obviously suffering from the effects of a stroke. It did touch on important issues like elder care, but it was so slow that it was hard stay interested in the plot. I wish I had something better to say :( Close this Review
