An incredible film that explores the changes early settlers made to the Australian outback -- and the changes the land made on them. It was a harsh life, but the courage of the men and women were up to the task. Interesting character development, gorgeous cinematography and a meaningful storyline. This is NOT one of those trite "Crocodile Dundee" films, so don't rent it expecting cute kangaroos and "fire up the barbie" lingo.
