Read More Please don't rent by the movie cover THIS IS NOT the unrated version as advertised. This is still very good, but shame on Blockbuster for misleading its customers again keep in mind, Blockbuster does this quite often, it's just not brought up as much, just because other movies aren't nearly as wicked as this, and people want to see every thing so this wont be the last time you are decieved. Also write to Blockbuster cust. support, and tell your frustrations. Netflix doesn't do this with there movies, there you get what you pay for (sincere service) The only reason I keep Blockbuster is because the store return policy other than that, they just raised their price, and we still deal with the same crap. Very moody and intense. Great visuals including probably one of the spookiest scenes I've ever seen in a movie... seriously. Well done and well worth a slot in your queue. It's in my top 10 favorite horror flicks for sure. The French subtitles are not bothersome at all since there isn't much dialog for a good part of the movie... don't let that scare you off. downfall of this movie is subtitles since it is a french movie but there wasnt really much talking so you didnt get lost in trying to read what they are saying.

very intense lots of blood and keeps you at the edge of the seat.

Nothing is more frightening than the tension of an unborn child in peril. Not for the regular movie-goer. I am a diehard foreign horror movie fan. I just can't see why the other reviews were so favorable for this movie. It was not that great and the ordeal that the woman had to go through was just ridiculous. I don't know why everyone is so hyped up about it. Yes, it was disturbing....but that's about it. I even went to IMDB to read the message boards to get more insight/opinions. But, it was just okay to me. The beginning had some creepy scary scenes. Then, it just relied on extreme gore for the rest. Think of it as a cross between High Tension and Saw.
