Really don't understand why everyone hated the movie so much, it really isn't that bad. I mean most of the characters are very 2 dimensional because of the fact all they tell is the truth, it is a little slow at times, and it is very sacrilegious, but it isn't unwatchable or even unenjoyable (definitely not to be taken too seriously)... My real problem is it takes awhile before it actually gets funny. It could have been funnier considering Gervais is in it, but the hilarity never gets off the ground. Definitely not as good as Ghost Town, but relatively decent.

I didn't think this was that bad. I did not make my top 100 or 1000 for that but some parts were funny. But i found that it went from funny to mushy. the ending SUCKED!!!!!! but i liked the begging. anyway acting was OKAY but was slow at parts. So i would strongly recommend to wait for this to come out to DVD. Its not a waste of time but its no the best movie in the theater.

I am not sure how this movie got 3 stars, because everyone I know who has seen it did not enjoy it. When I went to see it..it had only a few laughs...it even had a part that some members of the audience started crying when they saw that part of the movie..just weird, the end sucks REALLY BAD..trust me not worth your rental! I am still not sure how they can say member ratings are 3 stars when the average would not be 3 stars!...just not funny..not Ricky Gervais usual work!
