I go to the movies to be entertained, and while Mr. Reeves' acting makes me laugh, I really don't want or need another remake of an old classic with the plot twisted to fit a "green" ideology. Back in the fifties and sixties everyone was afraid of the "atom" and now we're all afraid the planet is being ruined by "people." When I want political activism, I turn on CNN. I am truly not interested in Hollywood's political opinions. And this movie was not good enough to stand alone above the silly message. And since when does John Cleese try to carry off a serious role? He should have hit Reeves with a can of Spam...

I think this movie is tied with Any Sandra Bullock movie for worst movie ever made. If you like junk science, predictable characters, and a weak story, this may be the movie for you.

This version is almost as good as the original from 1951. I had just view the original. My husband thought it started a bit slow, but I really enjoyed it.

Not the greatest, but very good. Fun movie to watch. I like Jennifer Connoly's acting. Not so much Will Smith's son, though, lol. It was fun popcorn movie and worth renting.
