The movie tells the story of 3 family members and how their lives change through decisions made throughout the film. One will find power in prison, one will find solice through painting and drugs, and one will find power being a police officer.

Read More I put this movie in expecting to watch only an hour or less before going to bed, but I was riveted to the story and watched the entire 3 hours. This is simply one of the best character-driven films I have ever seen, telling the story of three brothers growing up and the enormous impact that each decision has on their lives. If you haven't watched this movie, you have been missing one of the greatest movies of all time. The acting is great with even a better story line. The acting is real because it WAS THE TIME. I grew up it that area and time and trust me it's REAL. For the guy that said it was predictable watched it over and over to get that idea.
