Read More For fans of the original cult classic this new 'straight to dvd' release was somewhat of a let down. It completely fails as a sequel to the original but by itself it is your average vampire movie. Angus Sutherland cast as Shane was probably the biggest mistake - as he just doesn't feel believable as a head vampire (his dialogue delivery is corny at best). Cory Feldman in a supporting role as Edgar the vampire hunter is also not convincing with his fake 'macho' voice. I was somewhat surprised by the needless and excessive use of profanity - there was also some nudity thrown in for good measure. Overall like some other reviewers have said watch it as a one time watch or if you don't have anything else to see. Close this Review WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes | No | ||

Corey Feldman was funny, I am assuming he was supposed to be funny, there was some cheesy acting and gross out stuff, the ending was too easy and uneventful! But I still think it was OKAY. Read More I was extremely disappointed with the movie as Where the HELL was Corey Haim????? I have been a fan of the two Coreys since they first started making movies. I have looked forward to this sequel for a long time. It did show Corey Haim for a brief 3 minutes as a vampire but did not explain what happened or how it came about. This movie was very good if it had been just a regular vamp movie instead of portrade as a LOST BOYS sequel. The rest of the cast did a wonderful job of making the movie a good movie but come on explain how Sam became a vampire and why he is still alive and not dead. you may have the material for a 3rd movie but I would really think about how you do it before you make it as you have a lot of explaining to do. Read More Ya know I had high hopes for this movie and it could have been a great movie, the story was bad and the acting not so good but I have to say Cory Feldman was the best part of this movie and he really is a good actor and should be given better roles. If you have seen everything else out there then rent this if not rent something else. Feldman's voice was really low, not sure what was up with that. He did get in a couple half-way funny lines. Not sure why they did this movies as a sequel. The only thing that would really qualify that, is because Feldman was in the movie. If there is nothing else in your Queue to watch..then by all means... Guess when a movie goes straight to DVD....that is the first clue it is going to suck. If I actually paid $$ to see this, I would not be happy.
