Read More I was really excited to see this movie but when I actually started to watch it I thought "wow they really messed up this sequel". It could have been way better. They had some really poor actors in it. I was disappointed that Corey Haim wasn't in it until the last few minutes......he was the only reason I wanted to watch it to begin with. I wasn't impressed with Corey Feldman's acting either. I think it would be kinda cool if they made one where we got an idea of what happened between the two Coreys......but that's wishful thinking. Read More i was very excited when I heard they were making the sequel LOST BOYS-The Tribe. If you liked THE LOST BOYS, I would recommend you see this movie because the sequel does have some similarities and has the same vampire movie vibe. Most sequels dont compare to the originals - so I wouldnt try to compare it - just take it for what it is... a vampire movie which portrays most of the youth of today perfectly. I was happy to see Corey Feldman in the film- I thought he was funny. I was dissappointed that Corey Haim was ONLY in the alternate ending - but they certainly left it open for him to be in the sequel. Read More Having read the reviews posted here prior to today's DVD release, it is clear that no one has watched the movie yet since the 4 posts were posted prior to the video stores obtaining it the week before release. Straight to DVD was appropriate for this film. It was okay. I loved The Lost Boys. This movie has really only the title related. It was okay and I would compare it to any SciFi channel movie but with more gore and brief, very brief nudity. Edgar Frog has a small role in the film and I guess never grew up. If you've never seen the Lost Boys you might like this better. If you're expecting anything close, you'll be severely disappointed. It's not that bad and if it's a bad week for new releases such as this week, it's one to check out. I thought of American Pie Band Camp more than I did the Lost Boys while watching the movie. Especialy after they waited so long to do it. When the original lost boys was released it was a very unique style of vampire flick. before that your vampire movies were pretty much different versions of dracula. since then there has been an awsome evolution of vampire flicks. That is why I think some people are dissapointed with this movie. But remembering that the lost boys started this evolution I will always be a fan. Close this Review WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? You want about an hour an a half of something that will entertain you right? This is worth the time to watch it. You might debate if it is as good as the first one or not, but it's a different movie. So take it at that. I liked this one, because it was Way more Sexy than the first one. But they killed off the best looking girl in the first few Scenes!! What a Rip off. Somebody needs a good swift kick in the Nuts for that! That Girl was AWESOME, she should have had the Staring role. Don't worry babe, I write a Movie Just for YOU! They updated the look of the vampire, and the head vamp. really had the persona of cool dripping off him. He would be today's version of Keifer. The graffics have come along way since the first one.
