Read More of course there will be comparisons to the first movie, which was so much better all around. this one was mediocre, at best. villians were not as good and though it was interesting to see the 'two coreys' it was also a bit sad. the first one was cool, as the character vampires were neat. . . this one seemed like it was just trying too hard. seemed to be filmed quite cheap, like a tv after school special. anyway, watch it for curiosity sake, if you want. otherwise. . . don't. The only thing this movie had in common with the first is ... Read More Some sequels are nearly as good as the original. Some miss the target by a little bit. This one missed the target by at least one zip code. The only thing this movie had in common with the first is they are both movies. From that point they are as different as can be and the only draw at all was to see the two Coreys together again. If I had it to do over again I wouldn't. Close this Review WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? This is usually based on the best and worst movies they've seen. Lost Boys: The Tribe will reset your entire personal ratings system. For me the lowest bar was set when I watched Battlefield Earth. Lost Boys: The Tribe comes very close to supplanting the coveted spot of the "Dear God what did I just see" movie. The first thing you will notice is that the entire film is more grainy than a beach made out of a thousand other beaches. The second thing is pretty much everything else. Imagine the worst acting you've ever seen, then imagine those actors invading your home and attacking your eyeballs with a belt sander. If this movie were shown in a prison it would be considered cruel and unusual punishment. It could be used to extract information from terrorists. The only bright spot here is Cory Feldman. Being hit by a truck every year for your birthday would be less of a punishment than being eyeball-violated by this film. Close this Review WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes | No | ||

If you are a fan of the original, go ahead and check it out but don't have high hopes. I loved the first Lost Boys so I had to ... Read More First time I have written a reveiw this year. I see bad movies, but nothing like this. This movie sucked on so many different levels it just wasn't funny. I loved the first Lost Boys so I had to watch it. It was just poorly written, shot, acted. No redeeming quality. The only positive I can think of is that I'm trying to trick my brother into watching it. It's an on going prank to get the other one to rent a really bad movie. That's about all i can say.
