Decent story line, just not that funny at all. I gave a few brief chuckles throughout the entire movie, but with the cast it had should have been hilarious. I was very dissapointed. WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes

This is at the top of my list for bad movies. It wasnt funny, didn't have a plot, and the story didn't go anywhere. It's not truly hilarious, it's truly boring and lame. Don't watch this. WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes

Read MoreThis movie was a bit of a mess because they mixed up half the styles diversions popular in the '70s with music and bits of fashion from the '80s. Kristen Stewart was so low key and literally low energy that it made for a very unsympathetic character. There was no reason to root for the male lead (Eisenberg) in his persuit of her. This could have been a poignant and likeable story if the actors had invested a little more of themselves. Even Kristen Wiig was sleeping through this. Bill Hader had a few good moments. The story itself is very classic of the times (if you mean somewhere in between the '70s and '80s). The premise was supposed to be 1987.
