But once I started the movie, I just couldn't get in to it. It just didn't capture my attention I guess. So I like many movies but this was one I did not. This does not mean you won't like it. I knew about the camera style and everything and that wasn't where the movie went wrong. I think it went wrong by not telling you what exactly it was as well as the fact that it abruptly ended like seemingly alot of recent movies. Just a scam to seprate people from their money. I rented it from the store and the case didn't have a summary of the story on it , because there was NO STORY. Really, bad filming, shaking camera, distracting to watch, follow. Had to force myself to get thru this. YOu never get to know or feel anything for the characters. The attack on NY was laughable (you end up cheering for the monster).
If this was at the movies, Id walk out, too bad the rental couldnt be returned. Rating Reviews are deceptive. Rating should be 1 or 0. How could it have been rated an average of 3 stars? Terrible waste of time to watch. Close this Review WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes | No | ||

Read More This is a movie that just goes to show not everyone is meant to have a career in filmmaking. The director and the rest of the crew must have really loved The Blair Witch Project because the style in which the film was shot was spot on with The Blair Witch Project. It's too bad the only good thing were the creatures in it because the previews looked really good and while I'm not an avid Lost watcher, JJ Abrams isn't too shabby of a story teller.
