Once it gets going, the story is good and the pieces start to fit together. The movie definitely has some brutal scenes (think Saw), but there is also twist. It was a little hard to follow even after I started reading what they were mumbling. I didn't care for the gore, the depressing story line, nor the chain-smoking cop. Read More The shaky camera, the extreme closeups, and the terrible sets, this film was already on it's way to my worst ever list. Everything was dark, skanky and pitiful. The so-called doctor (people in England will remember him as Dennis Pennis) was working in a lab that even Dr Frankenstein wouldn't work in. The Pathologist at the police headquarters/station was working in a dank, filthy basement. It just wasn't realistic in the slightest sense. As if they couldn't be bothered to make some sort of effort.
Then the story and intrigue kicked in so I continued watching, and although it won't win any prizes it did elevate itself from my worst list.
The problem is it's all been done before, the set pieces were the same for all the victims without any originality. You feel nothing for the characters except, oddly enough the killer, and even then it's fleeting coz of what she does to a mother.

First I am heterosexual. I get physically disgusted even thinking of two men having a relationship. Most gay males don't understand that to heterosexual men being gay is rather sickening. They would rather label you homophobe. At any rate when watching a movie I don't expect to see this! If I knew that there was going to be a male on male relationship I would NEVER have rented this! What a waste of money. SO.....I propose that movies with gay sex should be labeled on the cover. We have rated R,Pg,G, etc. With a definition of nudity,drug use,violence,etc.....I want to see some label that indicates homosexual sex as well!! So once again I loose money. As far as this movie is concerned, Piece of crap! Acting was mediocre but the Homosexual element and the totally unbelievable ending ruined the movie.
