Read More Intriguing and engaging series that gives you a dramatic birds eye view of CIA ops that spans decades. Michael Keaton plays an effete (almost Vulcan-like) character that I found very enjoyable. The main cast also holds itself well and the moral balancing acts that they engage in makes for a good watch. Don't rent this if you're looking for 'Ahnuld Schwarzeneggian' level action but if you'd like to spend a few nights watching an intelligent spy series then look no further. IT TELLS THE STORY OF THE CIA IN THE 50'S AND 60'S AND ON. IT IS FULL OF INTRIGUE, ACTION, BETRAYAL, AND MAKES YOU THINK ABOUT THE WAY OUR SECRET AGENCY WORKS. GREAT ACTING PERFORMANCES BY KEATON, O'DONNELL, AND MONLINA. IT SHOWS HOW OUR YOUNG MEN ARE TRAINED TO SPY, START WARS FOR THE GOVERNMENTS GAIN, WHILE PEOPLE ARE KILLED FOR OUR COUNTRIES SELFISH INTERESTS. THE AGENTS ARE JUST PUPPETS IN THE GRAND SCHEME OF THINGS WORKING FOR THE GOALS OF THE ELITE ALL IN THE NAME OF "PATRIOTISM". Close this Review WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes | No

Read More If you think it has a slow and confusing start, just keep watching and you will love it. After you watch the third episode (Disc 2) you will have that "Ah, Ha" moment as you look back on the history of the United States from the 1950's to the early 1990's. I know this is fiction, but it makes historical sense. If you are at all a true American, this video should get your blood boiling. Close this Review WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes | No

The acting was great but the movie moved way to slow. This reminded me of the The Good Shepard w/ Matt Damon. One long chess match USA vs Russia...spy vs spy.
