Although my kids--who think that "Star Wars" is passe--groaned because "it was black and white, and besides, it was all talk and no action," it gave me an opportunity to explain just how much this movie meant to the decades of filmmaking that followed. It was also a good Civics lesson. And, personally, I waxed nostalgic seeing Henry Fonda, Lee J. Cobb, and a host of other veteran actors just one more time. Close this Review WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? I love how it starts off with just one against the group and how slowly the tide turns. How each man is totally different in their age, lifestyle, morals and ethics. You can feel how stuffy and hot the room is with no a/c as well as the tension. How many of us dread getting that jury notice? I have seen this over and over again and never get tired of it. Each time I see something I missed the last time! Watch and enjoy! ~ Susan L. Close this Review WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes | No

It really puts life into perspective. It teaches you not to judge someone before you get all the facts, but even after you get all the facts you shouldn't look too far into them. It was a really incredible movie, the way the men in the jury room are moved from being almost all one sided to moving to the other side and being open minded. It may be in black and white but its a classic thats for sure. Close this Review WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes | No

Henry Fonda does well in the role of the sole juror that believes in the innocence of the defendant. The sequence of events that lead all the other jurors to come to the same conclusion is subtle and engrossing. This film only has one set, the jury room, but the viewer's attention is held throughout the story. Highly recommended. Close this Review WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes | No

It helps that the script is so good, but I loved all these actors. It's just people talking in a room, but it offers so much story, and a lesson about our justice system gives every one of us the power to treat each other fairly or unfairly. Magnificent. Every actor in this movie is fantastic! Not many actors can pull off sitting in a room and talking for an hour and a half. This movie just pulls you in and graps you from the very begining. Henry Fonda was put on this Earth to make this movie. It is his greatest performance. Close this Review WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes | No
