Blade Runner (1982) Reviews

Interesting that when this first came out in the 80's, how we thought it would be like for the 2010's. Well, the world has NOT turned out to be a bioengineering battleground between humans and robots with feelings, as presented in the film A dark, dreary, drippy rain-soaked, trashed city hides four robots designed to "die" in four years trying to find their maker to live longer. Harrison, our renegade robot killer, falls for the girl robot that saves his life. Are the bad robots really bad? What is the meaning of consciousness? Depressing and slow. Reminiscent of "The Crow" in the murk and violence. Well, we all know that Harrison will save the day and learn something along the way. Okay, but would not watch again.

I understand that it's a cult classic and everyone should see it blah blah blah It's freaking boring and extremely slow for well past the first hour. I'm only going to finish it because I'm being nagged into it by my husband. For their time, the special effects are good.
