This movie broke ground for Sci-Fi as we know it today. It was definately ahead of it's time in the early 80's.

The Movie never says it but Harrison Fords character is a replicant...Watch the eyes...all of the replicants at one point or another in the movie their eyes glow red. When he is in his apartment talking to the female replicant his eyes turn red. And by the way Rutger is the man in this one.

Sorry, Ridley, but those extra scenes you kept in the directors cut put me to sleep. Also, you should have kept the original ending and the Harrison Ford narration. I've got this version in my collection right now, but I'm waiting for a non-Director's cut to emerge -- I'll give that an extra star. Even though this film is a bit dated, it still holds up well as a futuristic film.
