Read MoreI was disappointed in the movie, although maybe if you were of elementary school age you would like it a lot better. I didn't think the writing was very good and the animals were only mildly entertaining. The whole idea of Jodie Foster being afraid of leaving her apartment and then how she managed to reached Nim's Island was so far-fetched. I felt a lot more could have been done to improve the story.
