Heroes totally rocks!!! The only thing I didn't like was the fact that there was only two episodes on the disc! I wanted more but now I have to wait for the next disc to arrive. It's so good. They coul not believe that I was not watching it. I've watched all of Season 1 and I must agree with my friends. It is great. It took me up to about 4 - 5 episode before I was really hooked. Read More The Title and storyline in general might seem to be good for youngsters, however if rated I would give this between a PG13 and R - intended for mature audiences. Personally enjoyed the episodes I watched, but was hoping it could be a series that I could watch with my Boys (maybe watch several during the holidays). Several scenes are simply too graphic for kids under 14. It is rather "Dark" rather than a more "uplifting" hero type show; in particular a heroin addiction seeming to provide one character with super powers. In a few years, when my boys are 15-16 I will may give it another shot; but maybe best wait till they are around 18!!! Close this Review WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes | No | ||

19 out of 57 people found this review helpful The main drawback of this show as I see it is the repeated, unneccesary, and over the top GORE. I don't mean just some blood and action violence, I mean serious in your face horrific scenes, scenes I had no idea or desire to be subjected to. I didn't rent a horror film, I thought I was renting a sci-fi/fantasy comic with the hopes of a little style, class, and substance. Other reviewers have already pointed out the flaws in the script, as there are so many, I simply want everyone to know what you are in store for, so as not to be so disturbingly surprised as we were. Please, what is this national obsession with seriel killers, execrable violence and gore? If any person experienced even remotely the horrendous crimes committed on these shows, they certainly aren't entertaining themselves with fictional renditions of it! Get a real hobby people, you're frightening me.WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes | No |
