Well reenacted war tale of prisoner war camp near Borneo at throughout the WWII. To me melodramatic at times to a fault, however, considering its year of release, the norm of that time. Overall, an intriguing tale of events not normally covered in film. Interesting note is the day the prison camp is liquidated occurs on September 11, 1945
