I have scene my fair share of those and this movie is definitely not one. While it does move slowly at times, it builds to reveal a secret. Read More the box of this movie as well as the previews distract you from what this movie is... this is a movie were the scares are few and far between, couple that with an incredibly predictable plot line minus about two clever twists. the story of this movies becomes increasingly linear as the movie goes on. the acting in this movie though is top notch, although some of the direction, takes away from many of the keypoints that could have been stressed. to put it simple if you wanna watch a movie low in scares, and high in predictability but with to notch acting this is your movie. so for being so blunt. Read More Just watched this one last night & I have to say that it's a pretty horrible remake. I wasn't expecting it to be amazing or anything, but I also didn't expect it to be as bad as it was. The original scared the *$&# out of both my fiancee and I, while we could barely stay awake watching the remake. Skip this and watch the far superior original Thai version. Read More well i can say that the "original" is the BOMB it scared the beejeebers outta me and still sticks with me to this day...yes i agree that alot of the american remakes aren't up to the standards but the THAI version is def worth the watch ..uh-huh .. UPDATE:: bad movie remake, all the scary parts were left out, if you like the grudge and the ring see the original version in THAI...even with subtitles it'll be much better this remake was a total waste of time!!! Read More I haven't seen this movie, obviously, because it hasn't been released yet but i just want to put the comment out there that it really bothers me how all of our horror movies here in the US are REMAKES of amazing Asian films. The ring, The grudge, the eye, shutter, etc. These were all great originals and I have yet to see a remake live up to the original. If you are going to remake an amazing film... it should be better not worse! People here in the US need to start writing their own scripts!! Lets make new movies, not remakes!
