Read More As much as I hate to practically cheer for a serial killer, we found this show fascinating. Upon the praise from a couple different people from work, and being big CSI fans, we decided to give this show a try. We're hooked and we've only seen the first 4 episodes. The next 2 discs should arrive in the mail today so you know what we'll be doing tonight! The only real downside to this show is the the swearing. I see no reason to use the f-bomb every minute. Read More Dexter is the eponymous character who is a serial killer using his need to kill for "good," meaning he kills bad people. Michael C. Hall humanizes a monster with voice-overs that give a clue into a sociopath's thinking (always fascinating), while he works as a CSI for the local police department. But keep on watching,you'll be glad you did. ... Read More I NEED MORE DEXTER!!! I just finished the second disc,and i CAN"T wait for the third to come.,The first episode was kinda slow and not too interesting. But keep on watching,you'll be glad you did. It's very different than any show out there. Sometimes it can be a little disturbing, but yet it's done differently. It"s not just thrown in there just for the "gore factor". It's very refreshing to watch something that is soo original and new. Another thing i really like about this is that it's not full of nudity and foul language.I'm not opposed to it,it's just that sometimes that's just seems to be what the movie is all about. This show does not over do it.Also iit's fuuny at times.Sometimes you really have to be paying attention and listening for it, but to me that makes it all the more better. It's subtle,but great....From the 8 episodes i have seen,i am a Dexter fan!!! I do hope they keep up the brilliant work...KUDOS to all involved with this series!! Job well done.
